Outdoor Education at Heatherton is varied by both activity and age
Throughout your child’s time at Heatherton, pupils are offered a variety of opportunities to engage in outdoor education and develop their self-confidence, leadership and teamwork through a series of different fun and challenging ventures.
We are fortunate enough to have access to the fantastic high-ropes course and facilities at Berkhamsted Pre-Prep, providing our children with an exceptional outdoor education.
We also follow the principles of Forest School within the Early Years Department, and all our children benefit from a range of outdoor experiences through the curriculum and the extra-curriculur activities on offer.
