Why choose Berkhamsted Girls?

At Berkhamsted Girls, we aim to develop remarkable people. Whilst we maintain a strong academic focus so that every girl fulfils their potential in terms of qualifications, we believe that opportunities beyond the curriculum as just as important for the development of our young people.

In our ‘diamond’ teaching structure, girls are taught in single-sex academic lessons – which we believe enables girls to flourish academically in the classroom environment with a focussed approach to learning.

Girls participate in numerous co-educational activities, events and trips with pupils from Berkhamsted Boys allowing them to enjoy the social benefits of interacting with one another as well as learning how to collaborate and work together effectively.

We offer an extensive extra-curricular programme as we believe the skills and abilities pupils develop beyond the classroom are as important as academic achievements. Our approach supports our students’ development into adventurous, confident and resilient young women ready to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie before them.
