Berkhamsted Day Nursery occupies a beautiful country house situated in the tranquil and idyllic environment of Berkhamsted Pre-Prep on the Haresfoot site.
We are open from 07:30 to 18:00 for 50 weeks of the year, with the option of an extended day or a school day session.
The development, education and safety of every child in our care is of the utmost importance to us.
Children at our Day Nursery will enjoy all the attention that they would normally receive at home but with the added benefits of trained staff, a full-time chef and facilities specifically intended to stimulate each area of development.
We pride ourselves in using our knowledge and understanding of young children’s needs and interests to provide stimulating experiences and support for their learning and development.
We appreciate that the difference between a five month old baby and a three year old child is substantial. Our four age-appropriate rooms are specifically designed to ignite each child’s curiosity and facilitate their development.
In addition, our extensive woodland and secluded walled garden provide exciting outdoor learning opportunities whatever the weather.
To register your interest for Berkhamsted Day Nursery you will need to contact the Admissions Office.
We would advise registering your interest as early as possible due to the limited number of places available.
Please note that the minimum sessions required are 4 – 5 school days or 3 – 5 extended days.
If you are offered a place at Berkhamsted Day Nursery, you will receive a Day Nursery Agreement and Acceptance Form, which should be completed along with an acceptance deposit of £200. These should be returned to the address provided when the offer is made.
